Founded in 1964, St. Stephen’s is a non-profit, co-educational American international school for grades 9–12 — and in 1975 became the first school in Italy to offer the International Baccalaureate.
With roughly 300 students from dozens of countries and 47 boarders, it teaches the American Diploma, the IB, and AP from a historic villa a short walk from the Colosseum — where Rome itself is part of the curriculum.
